Jessi Cole Jackson from Literary Boot Camp 2013 had her story "The Rum Cake Runner" published in Crossed Genres Young Adult December issue. Jessi wrote "The Rum Cake" before attending Boot Camp and set it aside, "hoping that the revision process would go smoother after Boot Camp. Turns out, it did!
